Barbarian Art participates in the fourth edition of Art Dubai with the following artists:

 

Leonid Tishkov/Boris Bendikov and their photographic series „Private Moon“.

"Private Moon" is a work of formal beauty choreographed to cast Tishkov as lost hero of a modern fairy tale on a journey through different worlds and into dreams to protect his imagination. The series reflect on the 21st-century ambivalence towards lost utopias, melancholy and sense of disconnection.

Vladimir Kupriyanov and his project  „All Twelve“ (the  twelve stations on the circular line of Moscow tube).

The artist’s interest lies in the forms of artistic activity that are maximally open to the past, present and future of culture, hence his interest in architecture. The ambiguity and multilinearity of his constructions direct us to the real and dramatic dissection of life. His treatment of cultural contexts is sensitive and delicate.
